Sister Flora Nell Sippio

Flora Nell Gregory
Sippio, an alumni of Prairie View A&M University, class of 1961,
spent 39 wonderful years as a dedicated educator making a difference
in the lives of children. Her greatest joy was observing children
experiencing success with the “If I want to I can do anything!”,
attitude! Through the years her classes have recited this motto,
“Good, Better, Best, I Must...Never let it Rest, Until Good is
Better and My Better is My Best!”
Nell Sippio loves dramatics and has continued to work with Black History Productions for Children. She believes Black History is for Everyone and required all of her classes through the years to learn and dramatize The Creation by James Weldon Johnson. “Wow, my kids are amazing!”, she states. Nell is the author of numerous plays, poems, and composer of many songs.
In past years, Nell served in the Fellowship Choir at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, directed the Angel Choir, and was a Primary Sunday School Teacher.
She was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and to be married for 53 years to Homer Sippio. They are the proud parents of 3 awesome children, grandparents of 4, and great-grands to Lucas!
